'Here lie 200 persons of differnet nationalities and creeds who died on 2.5.1945 at the temporary English [British] hospital, Bergen-Belsen, as the result of starvation, exhaustion and disease subsequent to their being detained by force by the Nazi's in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.'
