Brief History

Working in a shoe factory she was ordered to work in a munitions factory in 1939 which she refused to do. She was arrested and sent to Ravensbrück.

March 1942 transferred to Auschwitz for four weeks and sent as part of an Arbeitskommando to Budin constructing a dam.

June 1943 transferred to Birkenau.

February 1944 appointed Kapo.

In December 1944 her appointment of Kapo was removed and she was sent on a punishment Kommando known as Vistula.

January 1945 transferred to Ravensbrück.

04 - 05 March arrived at Bergen-Belsen.

Arrested 22 June 1945.

17 September 1945. Stands trial at the 'Trial of Josef Kramer and Forty Four others' at 30 Lindenstraße, Lüneburg. Charged with Count 1.

17 November 1945. Acquitted at the trial.
